General Holiday Closures across all sections in the Department – Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac:
Please be reminded that all Department of Agriculture offices in Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac—including the Animal Pound, Sales and Warehouse, Plant Nursery, Agricultural Health Inspection Services (AHIS), Veterinary Services, Abattoir, and other sections—will be CLOSED tomorrow, Wednesday, April 30th, in observance of the General Election and Referendum Day.
✅ Normal business operations will resume on Thursday, May 1st, 2025.
Additionally, please take note of the upcoming public holiday on Monday, May 5th (Emancipation Day). We encourage you to stock up on agricultural supplies and livestock feed in advance of the long holiday weekend.
🛒 The Sales Office, Warehouse, and Plant Nursery will be OPEN on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this week to serve you.
