The Department of Agriculture wishes to inform all dog and cat owners, as well as veterinary clinics, of the impending closure of an overseas laboratory (Biobest) frequently used for rabies titre testing on November 29th. While this closure is unfortunate, we want to remind you that there are additional laboratories available to support your pet’s testing needs.
Please review our importation requirements for dogs and cats available on our website (www.doa.gov.ky/service/import-and-export-services/) for details on alternative laboratory options (including those in North America).
