A carambola tree can reach the height of 7 to 10 m. The tree has pink to lavender flowers, and it produces a yellowish-green, star-shaped fruit. The fruit bares during the months of June to February and is ripe when the outside is a vibrant, shiny yellow with a waxy texture.
