The Department of Agriculture is pleased to announce the launch of our Official Internship Program, designed to provide hands-on experience for individuals interested in various agricultural fields. The Cayman Islands Department of Agriculture Internship Programme (DAIP) will allow interns to gain practical knowledge within an array of areas in the agriculture sector, develop professional skills, and contribute meaningfully to our department’s operations. The DAIP is a great way to prepare for real-life job careers, gain experience in specialty fields and navigate areas of the industry not typically explored. Depending on the division, internships will vary in length and structure.
