NOTICE TO ALL COMMERCIAL CENTRE CUSTOMERS
Government Vehicle Loading Requirement
Effective 1 October 2026, the Department of Agriculture’s Commercial Centre will not load products into a government vehicle unless written authorisation has been provided by the:
- Chief Officer
- Head of Department (HoD), or
- Appointing Officer responsible for the entity to which the vehicle belongs
This applies to government vehicles belonging to entities including, but not limited to, the National Roads Authority (NRA), Public Works Department (PWD), Department of Environmental Health (DEH) and other government entities.
Customers using a government vehicle to collect Commercial Centre products are therefore required to ensure that the appropriate written authorisation is provided before loading.
This requirement is being implemented to ensure that government vehicles are used appropriately and that product collections are properly authorised.
