The Department of Agriculture Internship Program (DAIP) – 2026 Cohort offers paid internship opportunities under the Cayman Islands Government Paid Student Internship Programme. This structured programme provides students with hands-on experience in agriculture, veterinary services, plant protection, and agricultural health inspection.
Through DAIP, students can explore available pathways, confirm eligibility requirements, and learn more about the application process while gaining meaningful professional experience aligned with national food security and sustainability goals.
The Department of Agriculture (DoA) participates in the Cayman Islands Government Paid Student Internship Programme in accordance with:
- Personnel Circular 2 of 2025 – Paid Student Internship Policy
- Public Service Management Act (2018 Revision)
- Personnel Regulations (2025 Revision)
All internship appointments are made under the authority of the Cayman Islands Government.
