The post holder, to assist in the provision of animal health care and extension services to livestock farmers, to lend support toward animal welfare and control programmes, and to offer laboratory technical assistance and field support to Veterinary Officers as it relates to all ongoing veterinary/livestock projects and animal welfare and control programmes. To provide assistance in the surveillance, prevention, and control of livestock diseases of national importance. To be responsible for the ordering of laboratory and veterinary supplies/equipment, pricing of items for sale, and inventory control and management.
